LEGO Club – First Saturday of the month: 11:00-noon – Let your imagination run wild with the library’s LEGO collection and build something awesome! Not only is Lego fun, it also develops skills beneficial to your child’s development: spatial reasoning, literacy and communication, problem-solving, organization, planning, creativity and fine motor development.

Canada Reads: What is the one book Canadians need now? This is the question posed in 2017’s national reading battle. BCPL recognizes Canada Reads by giving away 2 sets of recent titles written by popular Canada Reads winners Joseph Boyden, Heather O’Neill and Lisa Moore. Want to enter? Place
a hold or read a book from the shortlist and let us know on your ballot which book you think will be this year’s winner. Submit your ballot before the winning title is announced March 30.

Spring Break – Stop in any time and show us your fantastic creations!! All materials supplied…you bring the imagination. Suitable for all ages….different creation materials every day, so stop in often! Also join in on Wednesday at the town hall for some fun activities followed by the “Trolls” movie.
