Situated on host farms throughout South Bruce Municipality, the Vintage Tractor Tour has become a popular event for visitors from all over southwestern Ontario!
From antique threshing machines to Massey Harris and Allis Chalmers, horse drawn equipment to a 1920’s Erie Steam Shovel, there is something for farming heritage enthusiasts to enjoy. We even have a rare Rolls-Royce auto on display (not sure if I would want to pull a plow with that!).
This year we welcome Formosa Springs Brewery as our newest exhibiting partner – Welcome! Formosa Springs Brewery will host a selection of farm equipment from the Formosa area and I hear a rumour the brewery store may be open (hey, looking at farm equipment all day can be thirsty business).
Make a whole day of the Vintage Tractor Tour, starting with Father’s Day Breakfast at the Formosa Community Centre, visit our exhibitor sites around South Bruce, then stop off for lunchtime barbecue at the Lutheran Church in Neustadt. Then in the afternoon continue on viewing our farm heritage sites before one last refreshment break in Formosa!
