Author Paul Hock – September 26 at 2 pm. Join Paul as he discusses his path to becoming an author.  Paul is from Fergus and has published 3 titles, is an avid photographer, storyteller and musician.  Join Paul as he shares his latest book, “The Tree”.
Community Information Expo – October 25, 6 pm-7:30 pm at WALKERTON BRANCH. What do you need to know about living in Walkerton?  The Library has gathered together many different groups and organizations that can assist you with answering questions about recreation, healthy living, continuing education, starting a business, child services, and more.  This is a free drop-in event.  Please contact the branch for a full listing of participating groups.

NEW: Cookbook Club – Want to try something new on your Saturday morning? Bring your favourite cook book along with a sample recipe to share to our inaugural meeting of the Cookbook Club. Please bring a copy of the recipe for the dish you are bringing. Registration is appreciated, but not required. Ages 16+ 
Write @ Your Library Teen Creative Writing Contest – This annual Grey and Bruce County libraries contest begins this summer and submissions can be entered until October 13.  Short stories and poems can be entered into Junior (grades 7-9) and Senior (grades 10-12) categories.  Contact your local library branch for more information.

All programs are FREE unless otherwise noted. Donations to your library are gratefully accepted. Children under 9 years old must be accompanied by an adult while in the library. Children under the age of 5 attending programs may be supervised by the library staff only during the scheduled time of the program; their caregivers must always remain in the library building.
