Pajama Bedtime Stories – Every Tuesday: 6:45 pm
Join us for this fun preschool program where we will help you build early literacy skills with your child by reading, talking, singing and playing together. Wear your snazziest pajamas and bring your stuffed animal. Adults must stay for the program. Suitable for ages 18 months – 7.

Builder’s Club – First Saturday in the month, stop in and try out whatever creative building materials we have that month

‘Tween Scene! Make sure to register for this fun afternoon of activities, crafts & conversation happening on the last Thursday of the month after school! Suitable for Ages 7 – 12. Space is limited! Registration before the last Tuesday of the month at 7:00 is required, unless otherwise noted

Adult Book Club Meeting – last Tuesday of the month @ 2:00. Copies of the club’s current read are available at the circulation desk.

Mayor Buckle drop in – Stop by and chat with Bob Buckle, Mayor of South Bruce on Friday mornings from 10 ‘til noon.

Freedom to Read Week – Feb 25-March 3: 
This annual event encourages Canadians to think about and reaffirm their commitment to intellectual freedom, which is guaranteed them under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Community Volunteer Income Tax Program
Wiarton, Kincardine and Walkerton Library Branches are offering the opportunity for individuals with modest income to have their tax returns prepared by community volunteers. Clinics will run in March and April. Please contact these branches for more information.

New! March Break Beanstack Reading Program
Children will have the opportunity to track their reading and other activities this March Break in this new online program. Earn badges and rewards for reading!

All programs are FREE unless otherwise noted. Donations to your library are gratefully accepted. Children under 9 years old must be accompanied by an adult while in the library. Children under the age of 5 attending programs may be supervised by the library staff only during the scheduled time of the program; their caregivers must always remain in the library building. Responsibility for the welfare and the behaviour of children using the library ultimately rests with the parent/guardian or an assigned caregiver. Thank you for your understanding.
