Pajama Bedtime Stories – Every Tuesday: 6:45 pm
Join us for this fun preschool program where we will help you build early literacy skills with your child by reading, talking, singing and playing together. Wear your snazziest pajamas and bring your stuffed animal. Adults must stay for the program. Suitable for ages 18 months – 7.

Builder’s Club – First Saturday in the month, stop in and try out whatever creative building materials we have that month

‘Tween Scene! Make sure to register for this fun afternoon of activities, crafts & conversation happening on the last Thursday of the month after school! Suitable for Ages 7 – 12. Space is limited! Registration before the last Tuesday of the month at 7:00 is required, unless otherwise noted

New Robotics available! The Library makes it easy to try STEM-based robotic toys in your home. Use your Bruce County Public Library card to check out Dot, Code-a-pillar or Code and Go Mouse. All robotic toys are available for a 1 week lend.

Adult Book Club Meeting – last Tuesday of the month @ 2:00. Copies of the club’s current read are available at the circulation desk.

Seedy Saturday – April 21
Bruce County Public Library hosts its annual seed swap. Bring any unused seeds into the library to exchange with other gardeners to get a head-start on your planting. Seeds can be dropped off at the Library from April 16-21, leading up to the exchange on the 21st. While at the library, be sure to check out the library’s extensive collection of gardening materials!

National Canadian Film Day – April 18
April 18 is a day set aside nation-wide to celebrate Canadian film. Sample just of few of the best at the Library!

Walkerton Branch Juried Art Show – Tuesday April 17 – Saturday May 5
Brockton Art Committee and the Walkerton Branch library are pleased to host this exciting juried exhibition giving local artists the opportunity to show their work and compete for over $1000 in prizes. The show is open to the public – Saturdays 10am – 2 pm; Wednesdays and Fridays 1 pm – 5 pm; Tuesdays and Thursdays 1 pm – 8 pm.

All programs are FREE unless otherwise noted. Donations to your library are gratefully accepted. Children under 9 years old must be accompanied by an adult while in the library. Children under the age of 5 attending programs may be supervised by the library staff only during the scheduled time of the program; their caregivers must always remain in the library building. Responsibility for the welfare and the behaviour of children using the library ultimately rests with the parent/guardian or an assigned caregiver. Thank you for your understanding.
